FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does the course include?

This course is made up of audio and video and written instructions. It includes exercises with demonstrations to help build your skill. For best results, practice each entire section 3 times per week, spread out throughout each week. For example: Monday, Wednesday and Friday etc.

Who is this course for?

This course is recommended for adults and teens (ages 12 and up). Beginner, intermediate or advanced students. It’s great for active singers at any level including recreational singers. It's also a great course for semi-professional and professional singers: singing actors, performers, singer/songwriters, recording artists. No previous experience is required! If you are a beginner this is a great way to get started! If you have taken lessons in the past, or have been singing for a while, this is fantastic way to get your voice in good shape!

Who’s the teacher?

Hi, I’m Alida! For the last 15 years, I have been training singers of all levels and styles as they achieve their vocal goals, build successful singing careers, and/or recover from a vocal injury. As a singer and musician myself, my extensive experience includes being a professional singer and studying voice with some of the world's top instructors. For more on my education and background click here.

In this course, I'm going to share the very exercises I have learned myself and what has worked so well with my own clients over the years.

I’m so excited to be offering this course!

Does this replace a voice lesson?

This is similar to taking voice lessons, but it's is a self-study course. It's a great way to to jump-start your vocal technique skills or restart your vocal development if you haven’t had training in a while. It is more affordable than a voice lesson. Once you've completed it, if you're looking for more customized training with feedback, consider booking a voice lesson. I will also be launching other courses soon!

What equipment do I need?

The course can play from a browser on any device: computer, laptop, tablet, or phone.

How do I get the full benefits of this course?

Practice through each section 3-4 times spread out over the course of a week (you can also do each section over the course of two weeks, again practicing each part 3-4 times per week)) then move on to part 2, etc.

High Voice vs Low Voice? What's the difference?

The high voice course is for female or treble voices. The low voice course would be for male or non-treble voices.

How long do I have access to the course?

You’ll have access for the lifetime of the course, for as long as I continue to run Mix Evolution and guaranteed access for AT LEAST one year after you enroll.
